In an effort to develop quality information about this disease Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and it’s Thoracic Surgical Department wanted to have material that it could hand its Esophageal Cancer patients that would tell them all about this disease. The Foundation took on the project to raise the $75,000 necessary to complete this project and that was done in 2004. The Foundation working with MSKCC staff will look to update this CD ROM and place it on our web site as a ready reference about this disease. We are hopeful that this update will be completed in 2008.
