Researchers from Switzerland have reported that induction chemotherapy followed by surgery and adjuvant chemoradiotherapy may improve outcomes of patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer. The details of this Phase II study were published in the September 9, 2009 issue of Annals of Oncology.
